Description
A pair of hand-dipped organic beeswax and paprika taper candles, made in small batches in Yorkshire. Crafted from ethically-sourced organic beeswax and organic paprika powder, they burn cleanly with a rich terracotta colour and warm, atmospheric glow. Each candle is hand-dipped using traditional techniques, with a beautiful, slightly irregular finish. A striking, natural addition to a rustic table or a cosy evening indoors.

- 100% organic beeswax & organic paprika powder with unbleached organic cotton wick
- Trim wick to ~6 mm before lighting for an even burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended; keep away from drafts and flammable materials.

About the Maker
Skär Organics are the UK’s first and only manufacturer of certified organic candles, founded by Fraser and Chloë Malyk with the aim of creating better candles for our homes and for the environment. Skär Organics partner exclusively with a number of remote certified organic apiaries across Europe who work in harmony with their bees and the environment. To qualify as organic, there must not be any main roads, waste sites or pesticides present within a 6km diameter of the hive to ensure the purity of the natural ingredients. These conditions are better for the bees, the land, the rivers and the beekeepers, and the candles produced are better for our homes. Skär Organics combine traditional candle making techniques, the purest ingredients and a beautiful aesthetic to deliver candles that have been ethically produced in harmony with nature and are also a joy to use.
I bought the Paprika candles to put in two woodern candlestick holders on my mantal piece. I haven't lit them yet, but they smell nice and look great on my mantal piece. They arrived within two days of my ordering them and came nicely packaged.
