More about our glassware
Handmade in the Atlas Mountains from recycled glass, our glassware collection covers everything you need for the table: highball glasses and low tumblers for everyday drinking, stemless wine glasses for relaxed entertaining and simple carafes for serving water, wine or homemade cordial. We also carry a handmade whisky glass set, perfect for gifting, and a tapered glass vase that pairs naturally with the rest of the range. Every piece is shaped using traditional glassblowing techniques passed down through generations of skilled makers, so you'll notice small variations from piece to piece that make each one feel distinct rather than mass-produced. Whether you're stocking up on everyday tumblers, choosing wine glasses for a dinner party, or looking for a housewarming gift that feels a little more considered, our recycled glassware is designed to be used daily, not saved for special occasions. Pair with our table linen or browse more pieces from The Atlas Works to complete the table.
What is recycled glassware?
Recycled glassware is made by melting down previously used glass and reshaping it into new pieces, rather than using raw materials. This process gives each piece a distinctive, slightly organic character - subtle bubbles, tonal variation and soft asymmetry that catalogue-perfect glassware doesn't have.
Are recycled glass glasses dishwasher safe?
Yes, our recycled glassware is dishwasher safe, though handwashing is recommended for extra care and to prevent cloudiness and scratching that can be caused by strong detergents and harsh dishwasher cycles in the long term.
Is recycled glassware suitable for everyday use?
Yes, our recycled glassware is designed for everyday use as well as entertaining. Our collection includes tumblers for water and soft drinks, highball glasses for longer drinks, and wine glasses and carafes for serving at the table. While the handmade finish gives each piece its own character, the glassware is designed to be sturdy enough for regular use.
