Handwoven baskets

Our beautiful handwoven baskets are sourced from The Basket Room - a UK-based company who partner with women's cooperatives across Kenya, Ghana and East Africa. The Basket Room's main goal is to connect these talented weavers with a wider market so that they become less dependent on self-sufficiency farming, which is unreliable during the dry seasons. Each basket is handmade, unique and shaped by the personality of its creator. At The Basket Room, sustainability is at the core of everything they do, from slow production methods and the materials and dyes used, to their supply chain and logistics.
