These one of a kind baskets are handwoven by a very talented group of weavers from Kenya who have complete creative freedom. This results in exquisite designs that are only ever made once. Naturally dyed in earthy tones of black, rust and cream.  Perfect for clothing, toys or even dry food storage in the kitchen. These baskets also make beautiful woven planters for houseplants (just make sure to add a waterproof liner).

The process involved in producing these unique baskets is meticulous and highly skilled. Sisal grass is hand stripped using wooden tools and bare feet, and then it is hand rolled to a very fine twine on the thighs before being woven using a classic twining technique. The dyes used to create the beautiful colourways are all 100% natural, and dyed by hand.

Dimensions (approx.): 27-30cm x 27-30cm
