Our Charcoal Handmade Soap from Wild Sage + Co, packed full of charcoal and green clay, is the perfect detoxifier. Use it as part of your daily routine for hands, body and face for a fresher, radiant complexion. With palmarosa and grapefruit to balance the skin and aid relaxation. Each natural soap formulation is expertly designed using a specific calculation to ensure that every bar is brimming with skin-loving plant and nut oils. This process, known in soap circles as ‘super fatting’, ensures that your skin is cleansed and moisturised at the same time. Unlike commercial soaps, where the glycerine is extracted to sell on to cosmetic companies, these soap bars are packed full of their natural glycerine. Glycerine is naturally occurring in the soap making process, and is extremely moisturising.

Natural Properties

Activated charcoal powder draws out impurities in the skin, helping to fight acne and excess sebum. 

Rapeseed oil is packed full of Vitamin E and K which smooth fine lines and reduce the signs of ageing. Often used in hair care treatments, its high vitamin and mineral content also make it great for tackling acne and blemishes. 

Organic shea butter is well known as a deeply moisturising butter. High in levels of vitamin A, it is known to improve skin's elasticity and reduce the appearance of marks and scars.

Green clay gently draws out and readily absorbs impurities in the skin, allowing them to be washed away. It stimulates the blood flow leaving skin feeling soft, supple and revitalised.

Care: When not in use, it's best to keep your soap out of water on a well-drained surface, allowing it to dry between uses. Use a soap dish (wooden dishes with open slats are perfect) or you could even be a bit creative and use a few pebbles from the garden.
