Megan Cox is a self-taught potter living and working in Liverpool. Megan works from her basement studio, creating small batches of wheel-thrown pottery for the home. Inspired by the tradition of British studio pottery and the beauty of locally sourced raw materials, Megan's work celebrates the unique character of handmade ceramics. Each piece is individually thrown on the wheel, giving every item its own subtle variations. Her practice combines thoughtful design, skilled craftsmanship and the beauty of imperfection to create functional ceramics that are made to be enjoyed every day and used for years to come.
